Braces
Reliable bracket-and-wire orthodontics for cases where Invisalign isn't the best fit — proven, predictable, and effective for every age.
About
Traditional Braces
Modern braces are smaller, more comfortable, and less visible than the metal mouth of a generation ago. For complex tooth movements, severe rotations, and patients who can't reliably wear aligners, brackets and wires are still the gold standard.
Stadium Dental offers metal and ceramic (clear) brackets, both with self-ligating options that reduce friction and shorten total treatment time. Cases run 12 to 30 months on average, with adjustments every 6 to 8 weeks.
Orthodontic visits are short — most adjustments are 15 minutes. We co-manage complex cases with an orthodontic specialist as needed.
Comprehensive case fees in Edmonton typically run $4,500 to $8,000, with payment plans, direct insurance billing, and fees below the Alberta Dental Fee Guide. Retainers are included in the case fee.

Common questions about traditional braces at Stadium Dental in Edmonton.
Brackets stay on the teeth full-time, so they keep working even when you forget to wear an aligner. They handle severe rotations and complex bite cases that Invisalign sometimes can't. Trade-off: harder to brush, food restrictions, more visible.
No. Adults make up nearly half of orthodontic patients today. There's no age limit for moving teeth.
